I’ve found the perfect pet! How do I adopt?
All animals adopted at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, come with a free bag of Science Diet pet food and a free visit at a local veterinarian's office.
We interact daily with every pet in our care, and we can match you with the perfect pet to fit your lifestyle. Shelter pets make the best pets! They are so very grateful to have a loving home and they will let you know every day in countless ways! We sincerely hope to help you find the perfect pet.
Adoption Fees:
Cats $50.00
Kittens $75.00 (less than six months of age)
Dogs $75.00
Puppies $95.00 (less than six months of age)
On average it takes $400.00 to get every animal we receive ready for adoption including vaccinations, feline leukemia/Aids testing, canine heartworm occult, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, obedience training, environmental enrichment and of course the daily feeding and cleaning of the pets in our care. We charge a nominal fee to help cover some of the costs incurred. Your donation in any amount is much appreciated and if you would like to help us by volunteering please visit the volunteer page.
Senior to Senior Adoptions: Your Adoption Could be FREE!
The Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League encourages senior citizens (age 55 and older) to participate in our Senior to Senior program, where we match you with a senior pet (five years or older). Research shows that having a pet helps people lead healthier lives, and the benefits are many: companionship, lowered blood pressure, stress relief, sense of purpose and responsibility, the list goes on.
We think pets are so important to keep our seniors healthy and happy we’ll pick up the tab! Please visit us to meet your match. Click on the links above to meet our adoptable pets right now!
